The easiest to care for and the lightest tweed in the Musto range at only 233 grams per square metre. Waterproof, breathable and machine washable, as the name suggests. The Jacket features a Teflon® coating applied to a luxury Scottish cloth, articulated sleeves, as well as five external and three internal pockets.
The origins of Musto go back to the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo. Keith Musto battled his way into the British Olympic sailing team against all the odds. They were physically smaller than the competition but worked tirelessly on their fitness and boat engineering to win an Olympic Silver medal. This same determined approach was applied to business. Keith Musto was never happy to accept that being cold and wet were necessary inconveniences of sailing. The original clothing company Musto & Hyde was formed in 1965 and has been leading the way afloat and ashore ever since.

For many years the range focused on sailors. Innovations included the launch of the 3-Layer System and accolades included the coveted British Design Council Award for Ocean Clothing in 1987.
Keith Musto saw a golden opportunity whilst attending an equestrian event in 1987, he was warm and dry in his sailing clothing, surrounded by wet and cold people in waxed cotton jackets. The Country Range of clothing for Equestrian and Shooting enthusiasts was launched. All three ranges, as well as the lifestyle collection continue to set the standards in performance and design.
James Haskell has been working with performance clothing brand Musto for over a year to help promote its shooting range. James is a keen shooter and works with Musto to increase brand recognition among rugby supporters.
James started shooting nine years ago when he was 17. He was brought up in the countryside and has been interested in country sports all of his life. Having always worn Musto products when shooting, it made perfect sense that he joined Musto as an official ambassador.
"Shooting is one of my favourite pastimes when I am off the pitch as it is a great way to relax and spend time with my friends and family. I have worn Musto clothing for years because of its unrivalled mixture of style and technical excellence."
James works alongside Musto's list of world class ambassadors including treble Commonwealth Gold medallist Charlotte Kerwood, World Eventing Champion Zara Phillips, William Fox-Pitt, Tina Cook, and the British national sailing team in the Olympic and Paralympic classes, Skandia Team GBR.
