'E. J. Churchill voted the best shooting ground in the UK 2009 at the IPC Industry Awards'

All of our Clay Shooting takes place at the award winning E. J. Churchill Shooting Ground under the supervision of our first-class instructors. You can shoot by yourself, with a friend, in a small group or in teams of up to 6 people with as many teams as you like. Each group has their own instructor who will look after them for the duration of the event.

We want you to have fun; we do not pretend to be able to teach someone everything about shooting on their first visit but we do ensure that everyone hits plenty of targets and, with our extensive shooting layouts we can challenge the expert as well as flatter the novice.

Low recoil cartridges specially loaded for E.J Churchill are used for all novices to ensure that only memories (not bruises) remain! Your guests will have the chance to practice on all of the stands before things get serious in the competition!

We offer early morning starts and in the summer, evening shoots. As well as half and full day shoots or bespoke game packages for the more experienced enthusiasts. Please download our price guide for details of the packages available.

We can offer Clay Pigeon Shooting as part of a multi activity day. If you simply can't decide which of our fantastic activities to choose, why not try a few?

Flurry Days

The Flurry day, as indeed do all our shooting packages, takes place at the award winning E.J Churchill shooting ground under the supervision of our first class instructors. Enjoyment and safety being the twin pillars of our business.

Shooting takes place in teams of up to 4/5 people with each team having their own dedicated instructor who will look after them throughout the event. A course of 4/5 different flurry stands will be laid out around the grounds with 100 clays on each stand with time and space between each stand for teams to talk to one and another and compare notes!

Flurry shooting is great fun and engenders real team spirit. Ideal for both the learner and experienced shot! Low recoil cartridges specially loaded for RCUK Country are used for all novices and beginners to ensure only the best memories and not bruises are what are remembered!
