Unbelievably it has just been announced that now the Chatsworth Horse Trials, scheduled for the 11th to 13th May, have also now had to be cancelled due to the inclement weather and flooding - visit the event website for more details. However the good news is that the Royal Windsor Horse show has NOT been affected by the bad weather and is going ahead as scheduled - The Event runs from the 9th to 13th May in the private grounds at Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berkshire

Itinerary

2 Hour Shoot

9:30	Arrive - bacon rolls and Danish patries served with tea and coffee.
10:00	Shooting commences with instruction and practice.
11:00	Break for coffee in the Lodge.
11:15	Shooting re-commences with individual and team competitions.
12:15	Guest return to the lodge for drinks, prize giving and depart.
Simply two hours of shooting practice, tuition and a sporting competition. Includes gun hire, tuition, safety equipment, insurance, up to 80 cartridges and clays, and catering. Total cost per head £125 + VAT per person (based on a minimum of 4 people). 3 Hour Shoot

9:30	Arrive - bacon rolls and Danish patries will be served with tea and coffee.
10:00	Shooting commences with instruction and practice.
11:15	Break for coffee in the Lodge.
11:30	Shooting re-commences with individual and team competitions.
12:30	High tower flurries.
13:00	Return to lodge for drinks, prize giving and depart.
Similar to the two-hour shoot but includes extra practice time and the thrilling High Tower Flurries to finish. Includes gun hire, tuition, safety equipment, insurance, up to 100 cartridges and clays, and catering. Total cost per head £145 + VAT per person (based on a minimum of 4 people). Business Club

A morning meeting with a buffet lunch of filled baguettes, canapes and cake, and a two-hour shooting session including practice, tuition and competition elements in the afternoon. Includes meeting room hire, gun hire, tuition, safety equipment, insurance, up to 100 catridges and clays per person, and catering.

Hellfire Half Day

Dashwood Day

9:30	Arrive at the shooting ground. Bacon rolls and Danish pastries will be served with tea and coffee.
10:00	Shooting commences with instruction and practice.
12:45	Break for soup and rolls (snadwiches in summer) in the Lodge.
13:15	Sporting Competition.
14:15	High tower flurries
14:45	Drinks followed by lunch in the Lodge. Coffee, prize giving (optional) - depart

Simulated Game Day

9:30	Guests arrive - bacon rolls and Danish pastries are served with tea and coffee. Guests are briefed on the rules of the shoot.
10:00	Guns are transported to the first of 3 drives for the morning. Guns line out and get ready at their pegs for the arrival of the first of many birds.
13:00	Sandwich lunch and tour of the EJ Churchill gun-making workshop.
13:30	Guns are transported to the last two drives of the day.
15:30	Back to the Lodge for drinks and a hearty three-course meal. Depart at leisure.
Includes use of venue and West Wycombe Park, transport around the Estate, clays, safety equipment, insurance and catering to include half a bottle of wine per head and all tea and coffee. All of our Clay Shooting takes place at the award winning E. J. Churchill Shooting Ground under the supervision of our first-class instructors. Shooting takes place in teams of up to 6 people and each team has their own instructor who will look after them for the duration of the event.

We want you to have fun; we do not pretend to be able to teach someone everything about shooting on their first visit but we do ensure that everyone hits plenty of targets and, with our extensive shooting layouts we can challenge the expert as well as flatter the novice.

Low recoil cartridges specially loaded for E.J Churchill are used for all novices to ensure that only memories (not bruises) remain! Your guests will have the chance to practice on all of the stands before things get serious in the competition!

We offer early morning starts and in the summer, evening shoots. As well as half and full day shoots or bespoke game packages for the more experienced enthusiasts. Please download our price guide for details of the packages available.
